The big cover-up, part two
We bought our house from a man who sold antiques for many years. He made some "interesting" modifications to our house that we are now removing. Case in point: this stained glass "swoosh" on the front wall (the wall is also slated for demo). Apparently it was one of five panels on a big stained glass dome of a church somewhere in the U.S.
What I find interesting here is the way construction works. The layers, the internal workings.
Top photo: the empty space.
Second one: Prepping the outside of the wall. Makeshift scaffolding!
Last one: From the inside, front courtyard - ready for stucco.
