Portland Travelogue, contd.

One of the first things we did when we got to Portland was to stop by Washington Park. It was raining (I won’t keep saying that because it applies to all of the days we were there!), and pretty cold, but we explored the park and it was beautiful. Green, lush, and full of amazing trees. We saw a blue spruce in the middle of this green field of grass. It looked otherworldly. The international rose test garden was vast. There were some blooms in the rose garden, albeit soggy. I can only imagine it when they are all in full bloom. It must be spectacular. Must go back!
The gorgeous doorway of the Tiffany Center building.
I loved the shiny streets, freshly washed down with rain.
Check out the van in this picture, below. It was quite adorned!
Of course, we had to go to Powell’s. Didn’t come out with a book, though. It was a little overwhelming. But what an amazing place.
More to come…
Peace, love, Red heartand Powells,
